Office of the Chancellor of Justice

This early 19th century nobleman’s palace built in the Empire style has on the façade a motto in Latin which reads “With good wishes and blessing of the ancestors”. During the last century, the building has housed various ministries and is currently the Office of the Chancellor of Justice of Estonia. The impressive back façade with its six Ionian columns rises on the edge of the Toompea Hill and is visible from the Pikk Jalg street.
