Three monks

Three bronze monks with a height of 2.5 metres standing in the Danish King’s Garden are: Ambrosius the “Waiting Monk”, Bartholomeus the “Praying Monk” and Claudius, the “Observing Monk”. They are inspired by the many ghost stories and sightings involving monks in the neighbouring buildings, especially the Short Leg Gate tower.
